Re: Crashes out of the blue

Hi,

First, this is now a different subject that the original post (Crashes out of the blue). I would rather you have made a separate thread for this.

Now with the issue. I am a bit unclear what you are trying to report here. What do you exactly mean by unable to receive calls? The INVITE is not reaching your device?

How about the audio problem you reported. I assume these are outbound calls? So are you saying both directions have problems (inbound and outbound)?

In both cases, simply reporting them without the necessarry logs to look at is pretty much in vain. I need to look at the logs for me to be able to help you.

If there is private info in the logs you wouldn't want to share in public, please send it to me privately and I will try my best to spare some time and look at them.

Re: Crashes out of the blue

Hi Mike,

If you suspect that this is a bug i have recently introduced in the latest cvs commits, I would be requiring a bit of helpt from you. First, downgrade to the previous version which was working for you prior. Compare the behavior of the old opensbc against the old one. If the audio problem isn't encountered, then that basically confirms that a bug was introdued in the new code. The next thing i am going to need are logs. If you may, please install the latest CVS version in another box or in the same box but using different listener port. simply copy you existing ini file and edit the ports manually before firing up the new isntance. Register a single problematic UA and try making inbound call to that ua. save the log and restart opensbc. then try outbound and save the log again. send it to me with some user experience story on what happend to the call.

No problem, take your time. I assume it suddenly is working again, thus the delay?

Re: Crashes out of the blue
Go ahead mike and send it. BTW, I have a bug fix for opensipstack that involves CANCEL corrupting transactions. You might want to upgrade.
