[OpenSBC] OpenSBC with 3Com VCX

Hello,

I have installed osbc on a debian etch. With help from the documentation
most of the time was spent waiting for compilation to finish. So with
very little effort I now have osbc up and running. My intention is to
put our 3Com VCX system behind the osbc so that all sip messages and rtp
traffic is routed through osbc when communication with other sip
servers/providers. The problem is that the dial domain in the 3Com VCX
is an ip address (it cannot be a domain name) and the ip address is the
same as the ip address of the primary server. I've tried different
settings to get this to work - with no luck. My question is: is there
any chance that this will work - or should I stop wasting any more time
on this?

Hacks are welcome, I will happily recompile, produce logs, extensive
testing and feedback to make this work.

Regards,

Ole Kaas

There is no need to use a domain for routing to OpenSBC. You may use an IP address instead.
